A Brooklyn-based heavy music series masterminded by Boredoms’ 77BOADRUM performance organizer Adam Shore is set to kick off with three of the greatest artists in grindcore history. Repulsion will play their landmark album, Horrified, in its entirety and will be joined by the aptly named Brutal Truth and Pig Destroyer, a band whose music is so densely frightening, the title of their 2004 album, Terrifyer, was just redundant. The show is at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple on Friday, July 31. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $25. Visit blackenedmusicseries.com for more information.
