—by , September 11, 2009

Union County Music Fest has entered its 12th year and things just seem to be getting bigger and better. With a new location, Oak Ridge Park in Clark, NJ, free admission, plenty of family fun activities and music galore, this is surely a weekend event not to be missed. Check out acts such as Third Eye Blind, Saturday’s headliner, and Pete Yorn, Sunday’s headliner, as well as They Might Be Giants, Gin Blossoms, Uncle Kracker, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and more on Saturday, Sept, 12 and Sunday, Sept. 13.

In addition to serving as an immensely entertaining weekend for attendees, the festival will also host the Rock On! Walkathon/5k Run on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. to raise funds to fight cancer.

Parking is available on-site for $10 per vehicle, but you can also park off-site for free and take a free shuttle ride over to the festival grounds. ucmusicfest.com.
