Altan: From Ireland To The Big Apple

If you close your eyes while listening to Altan, you will feel like you’re being transported to the green mountains of Ireland. The traditional Celtic group, known for their dynamic twin fiddling and strong stage presence, has been bringing Irish music to the world since 1987. The band is led by fiddler and vocalist Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh and will be releasing a 25th anniversary live album this month. Catch them at Symphony Space in New York March 11.
