Disembodied: Slow And Heavy Wins The Race

Slow tempo chugs and raw growls with no sign of singing in sight is what Disembodied, a Minnesota-based metalcore band, has been sticking with since their formation in 1995. After two full-lengths and a slew of EPs, the band took a nine-year hiatus before making a comeback in 2009. The band is working on a new record with Good Fight Music, but before that comes out, see them open for Job For A Cowboy at the School of Rock on April 23. Tickets are $13. myspace.com/thegreatdisembodied.
