Thrice: Going Back To Their Roots

—by , June 22, 2010

Following the inevitable leak of their newest album, Beggars, and a family illness that brought their tour with Manchester Orchestra to a screeching halt, Thrice is getting back on track. Although they received praise for the four-part album project, The Alchemy Index, the alternative quartet is focusing more on the raspy vocals and gritty instrumentation that first caught the ears of fans and critics. With the more raw and lesser-produced album in hand, Thrice will play Irving Plaza June 24. $21.
