Bell Biv DeVoe: Poisonous R&B

—by , July 22, 2010

When popular R&B group New Edition went on a hiatus in 1990, original members Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe decided to join forces and create Bell Biv DeVoe. The R&B group’s first album, Poison, contained hit after hit for the group including “Poison,” and “Do Me!”, but nothing since has received as much success. That has not stopped Bell Biv DeVoe from trying, and the three still perform their hits together on a regular basis. On July 23, they will be at Charlie Mack’s Party 4 Peace with Naughty By Nature at the Trump Taj Mahal. Tickets start at $35.
