Mountains, the ethereal pairing of Brendon Anderegg and Koen Holtkamp, are a group from the gritty and dark underside of New York City that is Brooklyn. However, neither gritty nor dark apply to this duo, and through the use of ambient electronics, a myriad of acoustic instruments and sounds from Mother Nature their end result is something much more soothing and, not to mention, safer than Brooklyn.
