It may have taken 12 years to release their new album, Feeler, but the Toadies finally reappeared on music shelves this past August, delivering upbeat melodies alongside dominating percussion. Their signature style, well depicted in their biggest hit, “Possum Kingdom,” is dependent on the ironic mix of light instrumentation with ominous lyrics. The Toadies will be playing at The Stone Pony on Sept. 16. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are $20. All ages are welcome.
