Philly-based rockers The Great Unknown have teamed up with ASCAP’s Songwriting Residency At American Scores program. Nov. 29 through Dec. 1 they will be hosting a workshop at a currently undecided school with the intent of inspiring children to express themselves through the beauty of music. The band will collaborate with the children on a song, which will then be recorded at Avatar Studios in NYC and released as part of a special compilation CD. What a great way to give back to the community and enrich the minds and confidence of the kids.
