Dylan Symposium: An Homage To Bob And The Band

Dylan devotees will want to mark their calendars for Dec. 5, when fellow fans, including Greil Marcus, D.A. Pennebaker, Matt Friedberger and more will hold a symposium at The 14th Street Y in NYC. The second half of the evening will take place at Le Poisson Rouge, where vocalists like Jolie Holland, John Wesley Harding and Nicole Atkins will team up with in house musicians such as Rob Burger and Tony Scherr to pay respect to the Dylan and The Band with covers of some of their best works. Tickets to the show at Le Poisson Rouge are $35, and doors open at 8:30 p.m.
