Bill Popp And The Tapes will be playing a benefit show for the man who helped the band from day one. George L. Popp was not only Bill Popp’s father but also the one who let the band practice for free in his basement, as well as the one who ran their mailing list. Join them along on March 13 at Kenny’s Castaways in NYC at 3 p.m. to remember the man who helped them get where they are today. This show will mark the 25th year of the benefit as well as the 30 years of The Tapes.
