The Load-Out: July 6, 2011 – On The Verge Update

—by , July 6, 2011

A lot has been going on with some of our On The Verge bands. Here’s what’s happening with these locals with potential.

Breathing Blue are currently writing for a full-length album, hopefully out this fall or winter. They are also working on a new song and video to arrive in the next month and a half. Plenty of big too, including one Sep. 3 at the North Star Arena at Great Adventure. They will be opening for Nickelodeon band, Big Time Rush. For more show dates, find them on myspace.com/breathingblue or on Facebook.

Take One Car had announced that they were working on an upcoming album, to be called It’s Going To Be A Nice Day, and were planning on releasing it late summer/early fall. However, recently that process has been slowed by the search for a new drummer. To keep up with their progress, or audition yourself, visit their Facebook page.

Julian Fulton And The Zombie Gospel have just begun pre-production on their debut EP, Heart And Arms, which should be released by the fall/winter. Also, catch them at some of their upcoming shows featured on myspace.com/julianfulton.

On escapedirectors.com, you can check out the recent release of the music video for The Distant Past by The Escape Directors. You can also count on the release on their highly-anticipated album The Crowded Room, out July 16.

Busy touring all summer long is Bern And The Brights. Check out bernandthebrights.com to find out more about what shows they’re playing near you. They are also currently working on a full-length album, expected next year.

Is He Misery (a.k.a. Geoff Vanover) has taken a turn in his career and changed the project name to Lines Drawn Divide. A new music video will be launched on July 12 on Lines Drawn Divide’s Facebook page.

Also, keep in mind that Indian Princess is taking time off to work on a new album and don’t forget to check out The Groundbreaking Ceremony’s debut EP, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Better!, out now on iTunes! They are also currently on the Vans Warped Tour.
