—by , August 2, 2011

Our On The Verge bands have been busy at work, writing, releasing, and touring. Here’s what you need to know to stay in tune.

On August 20th, Valhalla will be playing at the final round for the first ever $2,000 Battle of The Bands hosted by Jersey State Entertainment. For tickets, message the band on their Facebook. The guys are also currently recording for an album that will hopefully be ready to release late 2011.

Bern and The Brights have just released a new video featuring a sneak-peek of a few tracks that they are currently finishing in the studio, along with live performances of some new songs! You can watch the video on their website or on their YouTube channel. Their website also has information on upcoming shows.

Scott of Scott Liss And The Sixty Six has been focusing on a solo album, however he plans to release a new EP with the band sometime before the end of summer. Scott has also launched a new website, where you can keep up to date with anything him or the band is doing.

Besides working on the release of a new album by December/January of this year, Indian Princess is also planning a tour with The Benedict Arnold Trade School to take place some time in January. The tour will be called the Natives and Traitors tour, and  anyone interested in booking a date on the tour can contact the band’s general manager at joedimeck@yahoo.com. Member Nicole Grogan has also put out a solo album that is available for free via the band’s Bandcamp page . You can expect  the release of Michael Klics’ solo album to be put together soon.

Those Mockingbirds have recently released their new song, “Coast To Coast,” which you can listen to here. They will also be releasing their new EP very shortly!
