Dead Gear Expo: The Dead Live On

A weekend that will bring deadheads together will be taking place the weekend of Aug. 20-21 at Mexicali Live. The completely fan-friendly and hands on Dead Gear Expo features equipment inspired by the Grateful Dead. Along with the interactive expo, fans will be able to enjoy music provided by two Dead tribute bands, Playingdead and Half Step. Admission to the Dead Gear Expo is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Admission to just the performance part of the expo is $5 in advance and $10 at the door. The expo opens up at 12:30 p.m. and runs until 6 p.m. The show portion starts at 8 p.m., with 6 p.m. doors.
