Since going solo from his Hanoi Rocks days, singer and multi-instrumentalist Michael Monroe has pulled together a new band. Just last month, he released Sensory Overdrive, the first studio album from his newest project, which consists of guitarists Steve Conte (New York Dolls) and Dregen (Backyard Babies and Hellacopters), bassist Sami Yaffa (Hanoi Rocks, Jetboy and Joan Jett And The Blackhearts) and drummer Karl “Rockfist” Rosquist (Danzig). Michael Monroe is currently on tour in the U.S. and Canada. Be sure to check out his new band in New York City at the Bowery Ballroom on Oct. 2.
