A Rocket To The Moon: Established Cadets

A Rocket To The Moon is returning to New York on Oct. 21. After the success of their debut album, On Your Side, on Fueled By Ramen, the band was praised for their catchy acoustic melodies and heartfelt lyrics. A Rocket To The Moon has a pop appeal with an alternative-rock edge. They are recognized for both their honest lyrics and fun-loving attitude. Their show at Terminal 5 will feature popular songs such as “Like We Used To” and “Annabelle.” Doors open at 6 p.m.; tickets are $22.

Says A Rocket To The Moon’s Andrew Cook about playing NYC again, “I think I speak for all of us when I say New York is one of our favorite markets to play as a band. It doesn’t carry that ‘big city,’ ‘holier-than-thou’ attitude that some of its peers do (I’m looking at you, L.A.). We always look forward to playing there because it’s the home of our label, FBR. Their staff are just as much our family as they are business partners, so we relish any chance we have to spend time with them. And for me personally, many of my closest friends live in NY (where I too once dwelled), so I always look forward to coming there. I can’t forget the venues either. NY has some of the most legendary and prestigious venues in the country, so who wouldn’t be excited to play there? The “Time Travel” tour has been a blast so far, and I can’t wait to bring this traveling extravaganza of good times to the East Coast. See you soon, New Yorkers!”
