Smash Palace: ’70s Swagger & ’80s Rock

Smash Palace, a New Jersey rock group influenced by The Beatles and Tom Petty, will be playing The Bowery Electric on June 30. Their sound resembles The Beatles mixed with ‘70s rock and ‘80s power pop rock. Since their discovery in 2005, they’ve jumped around to a few different labels. They began at Columbia Records, and moved on to Epic Records. During those years they released seven CDs. In 2012, they are with Zip Records and are showcasing their eighth studio album, Do It Again.
