Formed originally in NY, the grunge pop group Audio Fiction will return to the City this month. The alternative outfit, known for having a sound akin to some of the most memorable bands of the ‘90s, is slated to headline Pianos on Aug. 24. Playing in support of the opening act will be the indie duo, The Wicked Tomorrow. Audio Fiction will incorporate old favorites as well as songs off of the new disc into their set. In celebration of their soon-to-be-released EP, the band will hit the stage around 11:30 p.m. Tickets will be $10.
