Deerhoof: Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

Indie noise rock band Deerhoof are eclectic, to say the least. Their music is hard to pin down, but maybe that’s what they wanted all along. Since their start in 1994, the group has created experimental indie rock tunes that are fused with strange electronic sounds and repetitive vocals from singer Satomi Matsuzaki. Many albums and countless shows later, they’ve released a new album, Breakup Song. The trio will be playing a ton of concerts over the next few months. See them perform at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on Sept. 17.
