NYC band Gladshot, the creator of Broadway breakout Hair and the associate director of American Idiot, has joined forces to create a brand new theatrical production. Barcode is the story of the future earth’s citizens being branded with barcodes by Earth Corp. to monitor their human interactions. Add in a forbidden love affair, Earth Corp’s intervention and a revolution, and you’ve got an interesting story. It will incorporate a live rock show and theatrical production. This rock ‘n’ roll musical will be coming to Bowery Electric from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2.
