A special performance in dedication to Nina Simone will take place at the Highline Ballroom on Oct. 16 featuring acclaimed bassist, songwriter, and all-around musician Meshell Ndegeocello. Special guests for the evening include Lizz Wright and Cody Chesnutt. The all ages show begins at 9 p.m., with a door time of 7 p.m. There is a dinner menu available with a $10 minimum purchase per person, per table, and seating is available on a first come, first served basis. Tickets for the event are $30 in advance and $35 the day of.
