Led by siblings Rachel and Robert Kolar, He’s My Brother She’s My Sister have created an eclectic mix of country, rockabilly, folk and glam rock, aptly self-described as “glam-a-billy.” Their live shows have gained quite a reputation thanks to their vaudeville-inspired theatrics. The group also features slide guitarist Aaron Robinson, stand-up bass player Oliver Newell, and drummer Lauren Brown, who plays while tap dancing on a bass drum. The band will be coming to NYC to promote their upcoming debut LP, Nobody Dances In This Town, and will be at the Mercury Lounge on Wednesday, Oct. 24, and at the Knitting Factory on Thursday, Oct. 25.
