Whitehorse: Pastures Anew

The husband/wife partnership of guitar virtuoso Luke Doucet and singer Melissa McClelland, also known as Whitehorse, are prepared to show off their Canadian influence during a local NYC performance. The Fate Of The World Depends On This Kiss, slated for a U.S. release in Jan. 2013, blends a mixture of romantic, love-knotted lyrics with an upbeat country backdrop that will surely tug at the hearts of its listeners. Variety sets the group apart from other duet acts, as they play instruments ranging from guitars and keys to even the stomp box during their live shows. The eclectic troupe will light up Brooklyn’s Rockwood Music Hall on Oct. 22.
