D.C.-based quartet Honor By August are already well on their way to living up to the grandiose concept of their name, having shared the stage with such giants as Bon Jovi and Imagine Dragons. But for their third album, Monuments To Progress, the band looked to inner growth. It is the first release that all members collaborated on entirely, and this free exchange of ideas and inspiration led to a fuller and bolder interpretation of emotionally charged, anthemic rock songs. Honor By August will play the Mercury Lounge on May 25.
