Released on July 23, Tomorrowland Blues is the name of the debut album by Star & Dagger, a four-piece heavy metal band featuring Sean Yseult of White Zombie on bass and Donna She Wolf of Cycle Sluts From Hell on guitar. Coming out of New Orleans, the group cites the likes of Black Sabbath as influences on the record, and its opening track, “In My Blood,” garnered a lot of attention with an EP released at the tail end of 2011. The gang will be playing The McKittrick Hotel in Manhattan, a fittingly macabre venue, on Aug. 3.
