With their recent full-length Spirit Moves, which was released this week, Wild Rompit are ready to share their raw, honest sound with all who will listen. After finding success on the Philadelphia music scene with the 2011 EP Brotherhood, the band took their time completing the follow-up so they could perfect their hybrid mix of folky blues and gritty rock. They will be hosting a CD release show at Philly’s Kung Fu Necktie on Aug. 29 before making their way to Spike Hill in Brooklyn on Aug. 30.
