New Jersey native Anthony D’Amato will be opening for folk artist Josh Ritter at the South Orange Performance Arts Center on Jan. 11. D’Amato recorded his first collection of songs, Down Wires, in his dorm room at college in 2010. He followed this release up with another self-produced disc, Paper Back Bones, which led to him gaining an international following. Recently, the solo artist signed to New West Records and is currently working on a full-length to be released this upcoming summer, collaborating with members of Bon Iver and Megafaun.
