Ethel: All Strung Out

A string quartet comprising of violinists, a violist and a cellist, Ethel was formed in 1998 in New York City. For the last nine years, they have served as the house band for the Grand Canyon Music Festival’s Native American Composers Apprenticeship Project. They have a modern classical sound, and play songs written by 20th- and 21st-century artists. They will be performing with the Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo at the Raritan River Music Festival on May 24 in Clinton, NJ.
