Israeli-American guitarist Eyal Maoz is taking up residency for a week in the East Village. From July 14 through July 20, Maoz will play two sets nightly at The Stone, a nonprofit venue known for featuring experimental and avant-garde music. Each night of the residency will feature Maoz and guests, including Hypercolor, LMN Trio and Maoz’s own internationally acclaimed ensembles Dimyon and Crazy Slavic Band. If you dig everything from jazz to synthesizers to native Israeli music, then Maoz is definitely worth checking out. Tickets will be sold at the door on the night of the event.
