Battleme: Solo Project Turned Band Effort

Battleme, the brainchild of songwriter Matt Drenik, evolved from his debut solo album to feature a full band and a musical mash of rock influences on his latest record, Future Runs Magnetic, released in March 2014. The thrash and garage rock sound of the album is a step in maturity and musicality, with noteworthy instrumentation and improved songwriting that retains its folk traditions. Battleme will perform on July 22 at The Theater Of Living Arts in Philadelphia, July 23 at Pianos, July 24 at Bowery Ballroom in New York City, and July 25 at Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn.
