The Big Bright are a New York-based project formed on the mutual love for Americana, indie folk, and British ‘80s new wave/alternative rock. In perfect balance between The Cure, Depeche Mode and Alison Krauss, the unique music off their debut, I Slept Thru The ‘80s, is mellow, instrumentally lush, delicate and at times somber, almost dark. The newly formed trio will play at SubCulture in NYC on July 28 for fans and new listeners to catch a glimpse of their quirky but evocative sound.
