California natives don’t call their home state “Cali” but From Indian Lakes might refer to Yosemite National Park as “The Canyon.” Lead singer and songwriter Joey Vannucchi, along with his bandmates, just released Absent Sounds. Ironically, the new album is nothing close to insufficient, featuring mesmerizing synths, rhythmic percussion, cosmic vocals, and spellbinding lyrics. They will be making a stop to The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on April 9, The Barbary in Philadelphia on April 10, and the Stanhope House in Stanhope, NJ on April 11.
