Renowned metal guitarist Michael Schenker is playing three shows in the NY/NJ area this month: April 15 at Gramercy Theatre in New York City, April 17 at The Newton Theatre in Newton, and April 18 at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Schenker made his name known at a young age, playing with German rock group Scorpions before joining UFO. He’s currently joined on tour by former Scorpions members Francis Bucholz and Herman Rarebell, as well as Wayne Findlay of Michael Schenker Group, and Rainbow vocalist, Doogie White.
