Bringing together the right amounts of both blues and hard rock, Rival Sons have been compared to bands such as Led Zeppelin, Bad Company and The Doors. Their recently released album, Great Western Valkyrie, will make any classic rock fan feel nostalgic. Songs like “Open My Eyes” and “Secret” are energetic and showcase vocalist Jay Buchanan’s soulful sound. Each song gets better with every replay. Rival Sons will be playing at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie on May 12, Irving Plaza in Manhattan on May 15 and Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden on May 16.
