The Griswolds: Aussies Depict The Endless Summer

—by , June 16, 2015

A new indie pop group has come roaring out of Australia just in time for summer. The Griswolds capture the sound of eternal summer with its blissful layering of electronic beats and bubblegum pop hooks. The four-piece is still riding the waves of its bright, debut album, Be Impressive, which was released in August 2014. The band relies on largely upbeat tones for entertaining party rock and dance tunes. You can catch the band on June 17 at MilkBoy in Philadelphia and on June 18 at Bowery Ballroom in New York City.
