Vinyette: A Soundscape From Reality

We’ve all been there at one point or another, when musical expression is the best remedy for the lowest of times. The greatest satisfaction comes from those who bring you beyond the depths of your imagination, feeding into that escape route that takes you from reality into your own fantastical world of musical bliss. Vinyette is one of those bands; with song lyrics from their first single, “Just To Get Away,” symbolizing what it would truly be like to actually get away, how can a person resist the urge to drive aimlessly for hours, daydreaming about sweet nothingness? With this Jimi Zhivago production in tow, as heard on Foo Fighters’ HBO series, Sonic Highways, the NYC-based indie/alternative grunge quartet will be performing at Lucille’s Bar & Grill, located inside B.B. King Blues Club, in Manhattan on July 17. This, along with their newest track, “Charlie,” can be found on soundcloud.com/vinyetteband.
