Formerly of Matchbox 20 fame, Rob Thomas has made a name for himself as an incredibly consistent singer/songwriter with a penchant for writing superb radio hits. Songs such as “Streetcorner Symphony” and “Smooth” earned Thomas credibility as a pop-rock artist for their catchy hooks and slick vocals. The singer has four GRAMMY nominations and two wins currently under his belt. The Great Unknown, his newest album, is slated for release on Aug. 21. Thomas will appear at the Beacon Theatre on Aug. 6 and 8, the MAYO Performing Arts Center on Aug. 10, and the Bergen Performing Arts Center on Aug. 13.
