The Chicago-bred metalcore group Veil Of Maya will continue their stint on the ninth annual Summer Slaughter Tour at the Electric Factory on Aug. 5, the Starland Ballroom on Aug. 9, and Webster Hall on Aug. 12. The band is also celebrating the release of their fifth studio album, Matriarch, which came out last month, recorded with new vocalist Lukas Magyar. Longtime fans be warned: their newer music has proved to be a controversial departure from their deathcore roots.
