Freedy Johnston: From Bad Reputation To Repairman

New York City-based singer-songwriter Freedy Johnston, best known for his song “Bad Reputation,” is at it again with his new album, Neon Repairman, which was released via Singing Magnet Records in June 2015. The title song, “Neon Repairman,” is a storytelling experience about a repairman who goes from town to town climbing heights to repair neon lights on signs; “Darkness is my friend” is one of the most poignant lyrics. This song will move you with its soothing, lonely guitar riffs. Johnston will be playing at Iridium in NYC on Sept. 10, at Newton Theatre in Newton, NJ on Sept. 11, and at Outpost In The Burbs in Montclair, NJ on Sept. 13.
