Americana Is The Only Good Country Today: Forlorn Strangers

—by , February 22, 2017

Nashville Tennessee’s string quintet Forlorn Strangers will perform at The Acopian Ballroom of the State Theatre in Easton, PA on Friday, Feb. 24. This Americana band has been on the road for the duration of 2016. Their vocal harmony, strong stringed prowess and compositional chops make them much more than their terrific “Leave It On The Ground” video. With a sound right out of the bluegrass and jamgrass handbooks, their four-part harmony and string muscle are filtered through a blues, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll blender. I hear their live performances are astounding and that’s why I’ll be there.
