Rake It In: Me First And The Gimme Gimmes

San Francisco-based punk rockers Me First And The Gimme Gimmes are currently on tour in support of their new release, Rake It In: The Greatestest Hits (Fat Wreck Chords). The supergroup—vocalist Spike Swanson (Swingin’ Utters/Re-Volts), bassist Fat Mike (NOFX), guitarists Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters/No Use For A Name) and Joey Cape (Lagwagon), and drummer Dave Raun (Lagwagon)—have released six full-length albums in their 20-plus-year career, covering songs from Cher, Madonna and Barbra Streisand to Elton John, Hank Williams and the Eagles. Catch them (with Scott Shiflett, of Face to Face, filling in for his brother, and Jay Bentley, of Bad Religion, subbing for Fat Mike) at Union Transfer in Philadelphia on April 20, The Stone Pony in Asbury Park on April 22, and Webster Hall in New York City on April 23.
