Bambi Kino: Don’t Fear The Reeperbahn

Bambi Kino will be playing three special upcoming shows of Beatles covers at The Bowery Electric in NYC. A bit of a supergroup, the band features singer/guitarist Mark Rozzo (Maplewood), guitarist Doug Gillard (ex-Guided By Voices), bassist Eric Paparazzi (Cat Power) and drummer Ira Elliot (Nada Surf). They will be playing songs from the 1960 Hamburg setlist that The Beatles played at various clubs from August 1960 to December 1962, before eventually becoming a worldwide phenomenon. All of the shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and are on Wednesday April 13, Saturday April 20 and Wednesday April 27.
