Following their successful tours in the U.S., the U.K. and Canada, Gandalf Murphy and The Grand Slambovians are getting ready to celebrate the Halloween season with their critically acclaimed annual Extraterrestrial Hillbilly Pirate Halloween Ball. These masters of folk rock will take over The Gramercy Theatre on Oct. 29 along with the Brooklyn-based trio The Wiyos. Having featured fortunetellers and “pirate tango” dance instructions in previous events, The Slambovians hope to wow the crowds this year with circus performers, best costume contests, surprise guests and, of course, their immense musical talent. Tickets are currently on sale for $35 for this 6:30 p.m. show.
