New Jersey natives, The Knight Owls have made a name for themselves with their blues rock, country, and psychedelic-infused sound. Father and son duo, John and Matt Check, lead the group. On their first album, Who Gives A Hoot, they became popular in the Jersey music scene, and opened up for the well known Led Zeppelin tribute band, Black Dog. The band stayed true to their musical roots on their second studio album, Turning The Triad. The group has a CD release show on Aug. 11 at 10th St Live in Kenilworth, NJ.
