On The Fifty: Brooklyn Boys

Fast guitar chords, rhythmic vocals, and upbeat tempos are all characteristics of the music created by four college kids from Brooklyn. On The Fifty are a young band with a pop punk sound and profound lyrics. They released a five-song album in 2012, Fast Hands, Bad Timing, which was produced by their childhood hero Anthony Raneri from Bayside. Their song “The Future,” from the record, depicts their youthful attitude and energy while also connecting to the teenager inside everyone. They will be performing twice in Manhattan, at Webster Hall on Nov. 25 and at the Best Buy Theater on Dec. 22.
