Taking a trip down a drug-induced heavy metal journey with two talented musicians is equivalent to listening to this New Jersey band. Comprised of drummer Greg Meisenberg and guitarist Matt Keys, A Fucking Elephant brings together dizzying drum solos and dissonant guitar riffs. Relying heavily on instrumentals, the only vocal parts they have is a few shouts and some spoken words in their songs. The band’s head-banging music will be on their new 7” record, Seven Inches, which will be released in 2013. Get ready for a blinding spectacle at New Brunswick’s Court Tavern on Jan. 4 and Brooklyn’s Public Assembly on Jan. 20.
