Satellite: Sounding Off

Calling Birds is the soon-to-be-released record from the alt rock outfit Satellite, whose debut LP is scheduled to be out Feb. 19. Calling Birds will be the follow-up to their 2010 EP, Ring The Bells, and the Nashville-based group makes the most of the pop influences that they weave into their own sound. They will play The Living Room on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 9 p.m. in the city.
