Post-punk band Stick Against Stone Orchestra will be hosting a celebratory event just a mere week after the release of their newest album, Get It All Out. The show will take place at Joe’s Pub in NYC on Jan. 29. Many have expressed their joy at the resurrection of the group, who appeared to fade into obscurity after the departure and death of one of their founders, singer John Creighton, in the mid-‘80s. The group’s music has been labeled as everything from post-punk to no-wave, Afro-beat, and samba-jazz. Their newest album, Get It All Out, dropped on Jan. 22.
