Growing up on B.B. King records and learning from musicians like Lightnin’ Hopkins and Albert King, Joe Louis Walker was born into the blues. He has taken this knowledge and sculpted his own sound that has earned him much praise. Walker has led an extensive career, playing festivals like Montreux and Glastonbury, and he’s set to bring his award-winning work to Mexicali Live in Teaneck on Feb. 8. The show is in support of his 2012 Alligator Records debut, Hellfire. Tickets are available on mexicalilive.com for $20. On March 2, see him at TheStanhope House.
