Just a mere week after the release of their second album, Downside Up, a trio of New Jersey venues will host the Los Angeles-based newgrass band, Old Man Markley. Downside Up, released on March 5, is the band’s first record since their debut, Guts N’ Teeth, arrived back in 2011. Old Man Markley’s newgrass style combines a mixture of the bluegrass, alternative country, and punk music genres. See them at Trenton’s Mill Hill Basement on March 9, Maxwell’s on March 12, and Asbury Lanes on March 16.
